Tekken 7 itself is becoming consistent with PS 5 and Xbox Series X. Since we already have Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, you can expect the latest Tekken 8 game to be compatible with all of these consoles. More importantly, they have to redeem themselves from Tekken 7’s less appealing release. Even if there hasn’t been any official announcement, it is unlikely for Bandai Namco to cancel the series.
There’s no doubt that Tekken 8 is indeed under development. Thankfully, Bandai Namco released season after season to keep the game appealing to the young audience. However, the story and lack of characters didn’t make it excellent. There’s no doubt that the redefined fighting mechanism and arcade mode still made one of the best fighting games ever exist.
But the game didn’t receive as much praise or recognition. It became available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. However, Tekken 7 finally came to the platform in 2015. It took the game an extensive 6 years under developer after the Final Tekken 6 title in 2007. Suppose we compare those games to Tekken 7.
